I LOVE PANDA
During 2000 to 2001, I have invested in a short film which involving places of Time Square in New York, Shibuya in Japan, Star Ferry Pier in Hong Kong and the Great Wall of Beijing. In these four landmarks of the metropolises, we shot series video materials which were sharing the theme of 'I Love Panda'. The details were in which some people from different countries or nationalities spoke the same words - 'I LOVE PANDA!' in same language. In order to fulfill my idea of appealing to protect the environment, i composed a story about protecting pandas, and shooting the film was to coordinate with the marketing of the panda story. The video material appears now to be like certain video art in some sapects.
